The Minolta XG-1 is a 35mm manual focus SLR.
The XG-1 is a budget friendly electronic 35mm SLR. The XG-1 is part of the XG sereis launched with the XD sereis in 1977. They’re very lightweight and are very similar models with the XE-5 being the cheaper option. The various XE models were less expensive than the new, auto-focus cameras, but still had many of the features that a new or experienced photographer needed. The XE was the first electronically controlled Minolta SLR that was targeted for advanced amateurs.
