The Minoltacord is a medium format TLR camera that produces 12 square 6X6 negatives on 120 film. A Twin Lens Reflex camera is a camera that boasts two lenses, a viewing lens and a secondary photographic lens or “taking lens.
The Minoltacord was produced between 1951 and 1955, which was a flagship camera for its time, boasting Citizen optics, the Minoltacord had a lever crank winding mechanism like the Rolleiflex line, and was the first Minolta TLR which had its focussing lever at the bottom of the lens board, which was a considerable design change from the earlier models. But, it was eventually surpassed by the Minolta Automat.
The Minoltacord is Practical, Durable and a great starting point for anyone looking to make the jump to 120 film.
